PreviewPlus the next step I mentioned at the end.

Hey {FIRST NAME},

Thank you for spending your Thursday with me.

If you missed it, or you want to rewatch the part about your kids with a pen in your hand, the replay of The Wealthy Tax Playbook is up now.

Here’s what we went through:

  1. 01Write off the life you already liveHow the car, the trips, the meals and even the photoshoot blowout you already pay for could become documented, legal deductions.
  2. 02Pay your family, not the IRSHow putting your spouse and kids on payroll moves income into the lowest brackets there are, and the paperwork that makes it hold up.
  3. 03Turn your tax savings into assetsThe real estate and retirement moves that turn this year’s savings into wealth that keeps paying you.

If you stayed to the end, your Family Payroll Planner is already yours. Plug your numbers in this weekend while it’s all still fresh.

Now, the next step I talked about. Knowing the rules and applying them to your own return are two very different things, and the second one is what my team does every day.

On the replay page you can book a free Tax Savings Strategy Call. You answer a few quick questions, pick a time, and upload your last 3 years of returns. Then one of my strategists goes through them and shows you, on your actual numbers, where you’re overpaying.

Watch the replay and book your call[REPLAY LINK]

P.S. The replay doesn’t stay up forever. I’ll tell you exactly when it comes down.

the April check isn’t a tax problem

Barbara Schreihans

Barbara Schreihans <barbara@yourtaxcoach.com>

PreviewIt’s a planning problem, and the clock says December 31.

Hey {FIRST NAME},

Something I said yesterday is worth saying again. Your CPA files your taxes. Nobody’s strategizing them.

That big check in April isn’t really a tax problem. By April it can’t be anything except a bill. It’s a planning problem, and planning happens during the year.

Here’s why that matters right now. Most of what I showed you only counts if it’s in place before December 31. Your kids have to actually be on payroll and paid during the year. The board meeting has to happen, with minutes, when it happens, not in March when you’re scrambling.

So the date you’re really up against isn’t April 15. It’s December 31.

That’s what the Tax Savings Strategy Call is for. My team looks at your last 3 years of returns, finds where you’ve been overpaying, and shows you which moves can still count for this year.

What actually happens on the call

PreviewIt starts with your last 3 returns.

Hey {FIRST NAME},

If you’re wondering what actually happens when you book the Tax Savings Strategy Call, here’s the whole thing.

  1. 1Answer a few quick questions on the replay page. What you do, roughly what you make, and who does your taxes today.
  2. 2Pick a time that works for you on my team’s calendar.
  3. 3Create your portal account and upload your last 3 years of returns. This is the step that matters, because it’s how your strategist walks into the call already knowing your numbers.
  4. 4Get on the call with one of my strategists. They’ll show you where you’ve been overpaying, which of the three levers fit your life, and whether working with my team makes sense for you.

One of our clients, Jacob M., put it simply: “the first meeting showed where we could save over $50K+ in taxes.”

Every return is different, so I’m not promising you his number. But that’s what a first conversation can look like when someone finally reads your return looking for strategy instead of just compliance.

PreviewLet’s talk about what usually stops people.

Hey {FIRST NAME},

If you watched on Thursday and still haven’t booked your call, I get it. It’s usually one of three things.

“I already have a CPA.”

Keep them if you love them. You can like your CPA and still be overpaying, because filing correctly and planning ahead are two different jobs.

“Is this actually legal?”

Everything we use is in the tax code. What makes it hold up is the paperwork, the minutes, the timesheets and the logs, and that’s the part my team puts in place with you.

“I’m too busy right now.”

Kymbirley Brake is a single mom building three businesses, and she’s a member of my Council Mastermind. If anyone gets busy, it’s her. I sat down with her on my podcast, Life Changing Money, and her story is worth your time.

The call is free. The worst case is you find out you’re already doing everything right, and honestly, I’d love that for you.

P.S. If you’re making $150K or more and writing a five-figure check every April, you’re big enough to be overpaying.

Quick one. The replay of The Wealthy Tax Playbook comes down tonight at midnight PT, and once it’s gone, it’s gone.

If you’ve been meaning to book your free Tax Savings Strategy Call, do it now while the page is still up. Answer the questions, pick a time, upload your last 3 years of returns, and let one of my strategists show you where you’re overpaying while there’s still time to fix it before December 31.

Every year you put this off is one more April check you didn’t have to write.
